Frequently Asked Questions

No.  You pay ONLY for the fuel that you use. This keeps it fair for everyone.  Some boats advertise that the fuel is prepaid, and have no interest in going to destinations that may be further away, but also MUCH nicer. We let YOU decide. We have accurate fuel flow meters from the engine manufacturer which we reset at the beginning of your adventure. We also charge the lowest rate for fuel with NO markup.  

The cooler will be full of ice and bottled water. We also have a blender in the cabin for frozen drinks you can use, as well as binoculars, beach chairs for each guest and 2 large beach umbrellas and a small table. For playtime we have water noodles,  frisbee and a football. We also have a drone that we can get some great photo shots with, weather permitting. You do not need to bring a cooler on the boat. Our cooler is VERY large.

Sunscreen, Towels, Snacks, Drinks (Alcohol OK for over 21 - We ID) and a HAPPY face! If you do forget anything, we usually have some spare of everything.

Of course !!!  We have recently installed a PREMIUM 6 speaker sound system with an amplifier/equalizer that is Bluetooth ready, and will amaze you with its quality of sound.  And it gets even better ..... we also have a BT Jawbone portable Sound Bar that you can use on the beach as well. We always have you COVERED!

99.9% of the time we see Dolphins. Manatees are a bit harder to spot, but I would say 50% of the time we encounter them. Our Deep-V twin engine boat at slow speeds creates a LARGE wake that Dolphins love to jump and play in. We have had them in the air within feet of the boat!  Sea turtles as well have been spotted (Large and small) but not as easy to see.

If you need to cancel your reservation, if done more than 72 hours in advance, you will receive a 100% refund. If done less then 72 hours in advance you will forfeit your deposit of 50%. The captain reserves the right to cancel due to bad weather and/or safety reasons. There will be a 100% refund for weather/safety cancellations.  50% deposit payment of the charter is required at time of booking to hold your time slot, the balance is due 24 hours PRIOR to departure.

We do offer "recreational" fishing. We are NOT pro's nor claim to be. You can bring your own poles (Up to 2 poles), or we can supply one if requested. We do not offer live bait, and only use artificial lures. 

By law we can take up to 6 paying passengers (Plus crew) on any of our boats.  All of our charters are a PRIVATE charter, and you and your guests will be the only passengers onboard. No mix/match. No Ticket sales. 

Minimum age for children is 5 years old.  All passengers must be able to board/depart the boat by their own account. Sorry, but no handicap lifts/ramps available at the dock.

Yes, there is a toilet onboard all of our boats with privacy, and a fresh water shower on the back of the boat at the swim platform. (Not enclosed) 

We normally depart from Punta Rassa Marina, located at the foot of the bridge to Sanibel Island on the Ft Myers side. (No need to pay the toll)  

Yes, this request needs to be made prior to booking as there is a pickup fee added to some locations depending on distance.

No open flame smoking. Vape pens are allowed. (420 Friendly)  No eating, drinking or vaping in the cabin. 

The Captain and mate are fully vaccinated.  We do not wear masks, and we do not require them. (The choice is yours, and we respect whatever you decide) This is Florida ... we do things a little differently here. lol

Short answer is no.  Boat rentals on your own can be fun, but they can also end in a day of frustration. (We see it all the time) The local waters in SW Florida change frequently. Sand bars as well as oyster beds come and go in different areas. They are RARELY marked on charts or GPS, and can cause the boat to become grounded, requiring outside assistance (at a cost) to be moving/floating again.  Local knowledge is the best prevention for avoiding these issues ...... it's what you hire the captain for.
